William Saroyan was an American novelist (one of my favorite) and playwright of Armenian descent who passed away in 1982. Days before his passing, he wrote a note to Walter Kronkite to be read only after his decease which read "I have always known that every person had to die sooner or later; but in my case, I thought there might be an exception - now what?" Though somewhat humorous, Saroyan's question is one of mighty weight. To whom shall our souls belong in death?     (J. Ogles)
