AOC Sunday Report - Fourth Sunday in Advent

The AOC Sunday Report is RIGHT HERE!
Happy Fourth Sunday in Advent!

The AOC Sunday Report is RIGHT HERE!

Next Sunday will be Christmas, the Saturday night before is Christmas Eve.  There is a lot to look forward to in the days ahead.  I really have a hard time getting in to the “Christmas Season” with all its current commercial events and connotations.  I am stuck on God sending His Son to this miserable planet to die for our, and more importantly and personally, my sins.  The thought that the Son of God would come to this earth, knowing how He would leave, for me is about all I can think of at this time of year.

We have two really great sermons, one from Bishop Roy, the Ice King himself, who is currently iced in in Moberly, Missouri, and Rev Jack who is suffering in 67°F and sunny Descanso, California.  A study in contrasts.   The sermons are very very different while covering some of the same Scripture.  I guarantee you will like each of them.   Not sure where everyone else is, but it is cold and busy this time of year.  There may be a Change One.

There are many people who need your prayers.  I ask a personal favor that you might pray for Shamu, her husband Lee and her son Zachary first, time may well be of the essence for them.  Then, Nat just went into hospital with what may be advanced appendicitis.  Your prayers for him and his family are in great need.  Then, Bob, Garth, Jim and Mary all need your prayers for God’s help to drive the cancer from their bodies.  Move on from there.

Have a great week ahead.

Godspeed,

Rev Hap
Descanso, CA
