Urgent request from the Most Rev. Ernest Jacob, Bishop of Pakistan:
As you know the recent cloud burst and flash flooding in Pakistan destroyed properties and killed 800 people including men, women and children. Hundreds of people are missing or buried under their destroyed houses.
We have AOC brothers and sisters in District Narowal and District Kasur, they are also in a danger while surrounded by flash flooding and can't go out side because of water.
I wish to all AOC family to lift up your hands in prayers for all of us.

ALMIGHTY GOD, our Maker and Sustainer through every hardship, we beseech thee to extend a hand of mercy and love to the good people of Pakistan during these horrific floods - especially those of our Anglican Orthodox Church in Pakistan and every Christian believer, as well as all who are suffering. We ask thee to cause these immoderate flood waters to recede and relieve the desperate circumstances in which the people find themselves, for we ask it in the Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. AMEN.
