We have wonderful sermons from Bishops Jerry and Roy, as well as Rev Jack! Rev Jack brings the Propers together today. His sermon is below the propers and can be viewed on video RIGHT HERE.
The Collect asks God for the continuation of His help to preserve the church. It makes it clear that without His help it is impossible for the church to survive. In Paul's Epistle, he knows that we need to be rooted and grounded in Christ that we might be able to comprehend His love. That with His love, all things are possible, without it nothing will come of our efforts. The Gospel is the story of the widow of Nain and resurrection of her son. There is so much more to that story than the simple resurrection of a boy.
We always have a lot of people on our prayer list, today is no exception. We asked that you start with Shamu, Tricia, Jim, Laurie and work out from there.
