There are great sermons today from Bishops Jerry and Roy, as well as from Revs Jack and Bryan, Rev Jack brings the Propers together today; his sermon can be viewed on video here -> https://youtu.be/T6dv03po8lo. The Collect introduces a word you may not really be familiar with, that is GRACE. In the Collect, we aske for God’s grace to withstand the temptations of the world the flesh and the Devil, most of the temptations of the world seem to be in our own hearts. In his Epistle, Paul tells us he thanks God for the grace given to us through Jesus Christ that we might follow Him to the best of our ability. And, in the Gospel, Jesus provides both a summary of the law and confounds the Pharisees.
