Today there are really great sermons from Bishop Jerry and Revs Jack and Bryan, Bishop Roy promises his knee is almost to the point he can type and there will be a sermon next week. We will see. In the mean time, you should find each of today's sermons well worth the time.
This week marked the 245th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps, a group who have done their duty in defense of the country in which this is written.
This past week also contained 11 November, a date which marks the end of the Great War in 1918, and in the United States of America is set aside to honor those men and women who have stepped forward over the years to answer their country's call at great cost to themselves and their families. Coincidentally, it marks the 27th anniversary of my own father's passing, himself a veteran of the Second World War.
There are always a lot of people who really need your prayer, today is no exception. We ask that you start with the families of Ben McKee and Dave Geraldson who left this earth last week; the continue your prayer with Loretta, Tricia, Bob, Shamu, Howard and Greg, then work out from there. Pray also for our respective countries under siege from not only the Covid Virus, but their own governments. Please also give thanks for Shamu who was baptized on 8 November 2020. She gives thanks for the Holy Ghost opening her soul and mind to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
There is a truly EPIC week ahead, but without that Third God Guy, the Holy Ghost, you just plain won't be able to see it.
