There is a lot to talk about this week. Learn more about Holy Week. If you just show up for Palm Sunday and Easter, you are missing an awful lot. And, the word awful is appropriate for much of the week. The week is filled with ups and downs, but the downs make the ups a lot more impressive. Take the time to read and think about all this.
There are truly excellent sermons from Bishops Jerry and Roy, as well as Revs Jack and Bryan. Yes, they cover a lot of the same Scripture, but you will really appreciate the differing information in them.
There are also a lot of people who need your prayer. Start with Kurt Thomas, a Christian warrior who had come as close as you can to death and is coming back, with God's help, from the edge. Kurt has been in battle for your freedom many times, but an infection has brought him close to the end of his time here on earth. Please pray for him. Pray for Shamu who needs strength, physical even more than spiritual, and for God to drive the cancer from Jimmy, Mary, Bob and Michael.
There is a lot going on this week. Accept God's grace and help and it will be EPIC.
