ND when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan. 15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the left hand of Damascus. 16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people. (Genesis 14:14-16)
We have all recently observed the true face of Islam in the demented faces of the hordes of beastly men that invaded southern Israel who, with characteristic cowardice, publicly raped and murdered defenseless women, butchered and beheaded babies, and violated every law of human dignity imaginable. If we consider them misguided men, we would be judging with an excess of grace. There little god whom they call allah is no god at all, but a symbol of merciless hatred and oppression. It perfectly meets all the desired qualities of Marxism and fascism since its dogma closely resembles the totalitarian nature of both ideologies.
I witnessed such beastly behavior from the advent of Islamic rule in Iran near the end of my assignment there in 1979 after five years of serving there. May the beasts of the jungles forgive me for equating that behavior with that of the beasts of the field for it was far inferior to the morality of a beast. There was a beautiful summer resort north of Tehran on the Caspian Sea which the Islamic government confiscated and made a prison for young girls. Those young girls, innocent of any crime other than being born a female, were imprisoned in that hotel at which rows of men would line up to sleep with one of the girls for the price of 200 rials (approximately $2.50 in US money contemporary to the day). Of course, there were many other government-sanctioned atrocities committed in the name of allah which are too gross to be mentioned publicly.
How do we evaluate the value of a religion if not by its adherents? Everywhere Islam rules, women are oppressed and the rule of law is based on the wealth of the claimant. The common people mostly are relegated to a grinding squalor.
The atrocities witnessed in Israel from depraved and lusting animals of recent days is not new to the State of Israel. The State of Israel is one of the few democracies in the Middle East but one which has constantly suffered atrocities at the hands of the Palestinian insurgents. Israel granted the Palestinians a separate territory at Gaza which has resulted in almost daily attacks and barrages of missile attacks from behind its borders of sanctuary. Whenever Israel has suffered from any atrocity, their response against such heartless enemies is always magnified by the media, and the sins of the agents of Hamas have been excused. Why?
Israel is evidence of the fruits and blessings made possible by a moral society – not perfect, but what society is. Contrasted to their Arab neighbors, Israel is paradise. This enrages those whose values are a degradation rather than a praiseworthy society. Their neighbors burn with envy and hatred as this contrast exposes the darkness of their own societies.
God has often used the arms of His people to execute justice against such disgraceful adventures of the ungodly. Abraham, cited in the leading verse, is witness of that practiced. Though I only consider those who have accepted Christ as the Chosen Elect of God, I do consider the Jewish state to occupy far higher moral ground than that of her adversaries. Such atrocious acts as we have witnessed over the past few days cannot be justified by any religion, and moral people everywhere should find it to be reprehensible and worthy of aggressive reciprocation by Israel in order to prevent further such undeserved assaults against their citizenry and homeland. I can certainly assert that such attacks against our American people would be dealt with expeditiously and forcefully – sufficient force to achieve its purpose of allaying further such conduct.
May all peoples and nations of the world turn to the One True God as mediator of our troubles and Sovereign of our actions. If we all observed the Ten Commandments of God after the mandate of Love, would we all not enjoy a greater joy and peace?
