I apologize for the very late posting, but I was kept away from the computer. We have great sermons from Bishops Jerry and Roy, as well as Revs Jack and Bryan. Rev Jack brings the Propers together today. His sermon is not available on video was I was unable to record it.
In the Collect, we acknowledge God is a Triune God; Father, Son, Holy Ghost; what does that mean? In his General Epistle, Peter tells us our actions need to be consistent with the principles of Scripture and of Jesus’ message. In John’s Gospel reading this morning Jesus tells of His impending bodily death and resurrection. He reminds us if we have eternal life, sorrow, even the sorrow of death is transient.
There are always a lot of people who need your prayer, I implore you to take time to pray a bit at least. Start with the Smouse family, Tricia, Shamu and Laurie and work out from there. Also, if you have someone on the prayer list and their needs have changed, please let us know. We’d like to update our prayers to reflect the need and most important to give thanks!
I know Rev Jack talks a lot about that Third God Guy, the Holy Ghost; but He is really your key to understanding life. Without Him, Scripture is so much babble; with Him, it all makes sense.
